Italian Meatballs

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 6 slices Italian bread (torn up)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 lb ground pork
  • 1/2 cup each chopped onions & grated cheese
  • 2 eggs slightly beaten
  • 2 tsp Wesson oil
  • 1/2 tsp minced garlic
  • 2 (large?) cans Hunt’s tomato sauce

Mix water, bread, ground meat, onions, grated cheese, eggs, oil, and garlic together and form into balls. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Drain off any oil, pour sauce on top, and bake with sauce for another 20 minutes.
